Craft + Design is a contemporary craft show, produced by the Visual Arts Center of Richmond, that has garnered a reputation for showcasing the finest in museum-quality craft. Craft + Design is held in the historic Main Street Station’s train shed and draws more than 10,000 people to shop the work of over 160 artists from all over the country. 

Craft + Design is the signature event of the Visual Arts Center of Richmond, a non-profit community arts center located in the heart of Richmond’s Fan District.

We’re so excited to return to the Institute of Contemporary Art at VCU from December 6th through 8th to host our sixth annual holiday market! Our pop-up market features work from 21 ceramic artists who teach, work, and make at Hand / Thrown Studio. Swing by, grab a snack from the cafe, and shop this beautiful collection of local wares!
